'I worship and adore the true and living God'
Beta (Bible Study Group)

Beta Group is a Bible study group which meets in church. Meetings are normally held on the first and third Mondays of the month. The normal form of the meetings is to read through a passage of scripture, considering its meaning, and discussing it in stages. The passages chosen either move sequentially through a book of the Bible, or are chosen around a particular theme. Examples of the titles of recent studies are John 17:1 – 26 – Jesus’ prayer for the disciples, and Hebrews 4:1 – 5:10 – Jesus’ ability to bring us to God’s rest.
The meetings conclude with a time of prayer, followed by refreshments.
The name of the group derives from the fact that it was originally created to follow an Alpha Course, although that is now more than twenty years in the past.
The group is led by Andrew Rose.
