and at 10.00am on a Thursday.
Read below for further information about each of our services.

Sunday
9.15am
At this service of Holy Communion (or Eucharist), we come together to celebrate God's love for the world and our part of that world, made known to us through the gift of Jesus Christ. We are lead in prayer and reflection by the priest and lay ministers and share together Holy Communion by receiving the bread and wine (a symbol of Christ’s body and blood) in remembrance of him. If you have been confirmed then you are welcome to receive the bread and wine. If not, don't worry as you are welcome to receive a blessing, or stay in your seat for a time of reflection.
This service is led by a priest and music is led by the choir with organ and/or piano.
Holy Communion (1st & 3rd Sunday of the month)
Morning Prayer / Matins (2nd & 4th Sunday of the month)
Using hymns, psalms and readings from the Bible, the day begins as we mean to go on, taking time to be still and think about God and holding the needs of others in our prayers.
This service is usually lay led by a member of the church and music is led by the choir with organ and/or piano.
All-Age Service
Our second service of the day is our more informal all-age service. This service is child-friendly, but not aimed solely at such young children. Rather than a service booklet and hymn book, PowerPoint presentations are used to provide meaningful illustrations for the service’s theme and to enable the use of YouTube music videos (these are sometimes accompanied by children playing percussion instruments or with actions). During the service, the children also have an activity: an individual colouring/craft or a collaborative display of the theme.
This service is usually lay led by a member of the church and music is led via YouTube.
On the third Sunday of the month - unless there is a 10.00am combined service (see Upcoming Special Services & Events) - Holy Communion is celebrated at this service using a shorter eucharistic prayer and responses for congregants of all ages.
This service is led by a priest and music is led via YouTube.
All-Age Holy Communion (3rd Sunday of the Month)

Sunday
10.45am

Sunday
6.00pm
Taken from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, with its meaningful and lyrical words, this service offers some of the highest level choral worship. There are prayers, readings from the scriptures and hymns for everyone to join in with Some sections of the service are sung on behalf of the congregation by the choir as the congregation participates through active listening and reflection. On the third Sunday of the month, Evening Prayer (taken from Common Worship) is offered. This is a calm and reflective service; a peaceful way to end the day.
This service is led by a priest or lay leader and music is led by the choir with organ and/or piano.
